# Amenities

> Add entrances, washrooms, elevators and other shared facilities.

Amenities are shared facilities such as entrances, washrooms, parking, ATMs and information desks. They appear on the map with an icon, and visitors can search for them and get directions to them.

## Add an amenity

**1. Start a new amenity**

In the **Amenities** section, choose **+ add amenity**. A map opens.

**2. Name it**

Pick the closest **Type** and give it a clear **Name**, such as **East Entrance** or **Level 2 Restroom**.

**3. Place it**

Use the floor buttons to pick the floor, click where the amenity is and choose **Save position**.

Each amenity row has icons to move it (**Place marker**), change its **Icon** or **Gallery** images, or **Edit** its details. When an amenity has no images, common types use a default picture in the details panel.

## Elevators, escalators and stairs

These connect floors. Add one amenity per floor, all with the same name, such as **Elevator 1**, and place them at the same spot on each floor. Visitors are then routed between those floors. Use a name that starts with **Elevator**, **Escalator** or **Stairs**, optionally followed by a number.

## Floorplan Amenities

If your floor plan already contains equipment such as washroom fixtures, this section lists what was found. You can rename each item, untick **Visible** to hide it, or use **Link existing amenity** to connect it to an amenity you already created. Choose **Refresh** after changing the floor plan.
