# General settings

> Floor plan, public link, name, colours and opening view.

Open an experience and select **General**. Each field saves on its own. For text fields, press Enter to save or Escape to cancel. Viewer camera number fields also save when you leave the field.

## Configuration

* **Floor plan** shows **Not added yet** or **Ready**. Choose **Create floor plan** or **Edit floor plan** to open the [floor plan editor](https://cxdocs.planpoint.io/project/floorplan.md).
* **Planpoint URL** opens the public experience in a new tab.
* **Embed code** copies the code for your website. See [Public viewer URL](https://cxdocs.planpoint.io/share/public-viewer.md).

## Basic Information

* **Experience Name** and **Description**.
* **Experience Type**: Retail, Residential, Office or Other. See [Project types](https://cxdocs.planpoint.io/project/project-types.md).
* **Namespace** and **Host Name** form the public link: `/[namespace]/[hostName]`.
* **Cover Image** is shown on the dashboard card. Recommended size: 400 x 200 px.

> [!WARNING]
>
> Changing the Namespace or Host Name changes the public link. Old links, embeds, QR codes and touchscreen links stop working.

## Theming

* **Accent Color** is used for buttons and highlights.
* **Background Color** is shown behind the map.
* **Corner Style** makes corners **Rounded** or **Straight**.

## Other cards

* **Viewer defaults**: starting floor, automatic or custom zoom, starting angles, a map preview to save the current view, and the street map. See [Viewer defaults](https://cxdocs.planpoint.io/project/viewer-settings.md).
* **Leasing View**: residential and office projects only. See [Leasing View](https://cxdocs.planpoint.io/project/leasing-view.md).
* **Danger Zone**: **Delete Experience** removes the experience and everything in it. This cannot be undone.
