# Ongoing maintenance

> Keep your experience up to date after launch.

## When a store changes

* Update its details, hours and images in the directory. Visitors see the changes the next time they open the viewer.
* If its shape changed, update its outline in [Map spaces](https://cxdocs.planpoint.io/directory/map-spaces.md).
* Store owners can keep their own listing up to date with [tenant editor access](https://cxdocs.planpoint.io/directory/tenant-editor.md).

## When the building changes

1. Update the walls, doors or stairs in the [floor plan editor](https://cxdocs.planpoint.io/project/floorplan.md) and save. Visitors see the new map within a few minutes.
2. Check the store outlines on the changed floors.
3. Move amenities and touchscreens if they moved.
4. Try a few routes through the changed area. Directions update by themselves. Use [Route adjustments](https://cxdocs.planpoint.io/wayfinding/build-routes.md) only if something needs fixing.

Made a mistake in the floor plan? Use **History** in the editor to go back to an earlier version.

## Good habits

| How often | What to check |
| - | - |
| When something changes | Store details, hours and closures |
| After building work | Floor plan, store outlines and routes |
| Monthly | Search, website links, screens and syncs |
| Before an event | Ads, closures and busy routes |

Non-touch displays pick up directory changes within 5 minutes.
