# Add a touchscreen

> Put each screen on the map where it stands in the building.

Routes from a touchscreen start at its spot on the map, so place it accurately.

**1. Open the editor**

Go to **Touchscreens** and choose **Edit positions**. This needs a floor plan.

**2. Pick the floor**

Go to the floor where the screen is installed.

**3. Place the screen**

Choose **Add touchscreen** and click where the screen stands, on the walkway side. Give it a clear name, such as **North Entrance K01**.

**4. Save**

Choose **Save**. To change a spot later, select the screen and use **Move**. Undo and Redo work until you save.

**5. Test it**

Open the screen's **Preview** and check the **You are here** marker. On a touchscreen, try a route to a nearby store.

> Deleting a screen only takes effect when you save. Its old link stops working afterwards.
