# Touchscreens overview

> Run interactive touchscreens or non-touch directory displays in your building.

Each screen in your building gets its own entry in **Touchscreens**. Its spot on the map shows the **You are here** marker and, on a touchscreen, is where every route starts.

## Two modes

Choose the mode in **Touchscreens > Display & reset > Interaction**, then **Save settings**. The mode applies to all screens of the experience.

| Mode | What visitors see |
| - | - |
| Touchscreen | The full interactive map with search and directions |
| Non-touch display | A fixed map of the screen's floor with the full store directory |

Normal links without a kiosk ID always stay interactive.

## Display & reset

* **Orientation**: **Portrait** or **Landscape**.
* **Reset after inactivity** and **Warning countdown**: touchscreens only. See [Kiosk experience](https://cxdocs.planpoint.io/touchscreens/kiosk-experience.md).

## Screen list

Each screen has buttons to edit it, copy its link, and **Preview** it. In non-touch mode there is also a download button for the [offline package](https://cxdocs.planpoint.io/touchscreens/deployment.md#offline-package).
