# Test routes

> Try the routes visitors will use before you launch.

Test routes the way visitors use them: from the main entrances and from every touchscreen.

## In the editor

In **Route adjustments > Edit routes**, the **Routes** tab shows how many places can be reached. Use **Route preview** to try any route and read its directions.

## In the viewer

Open the **Planpoint URL**, then try a few routes on a computer and on a phone.

| Try a route... | Check that... |
| - | - |
| From a main entrance to a nearby store | The first direction makes sense |
| From a main entrance to a store far away | The route uses the main walkways |
| From each touchscreen | The route starts where the screen stands |
| To a store on another floor | The right stairs, elevator or escalator is used |
| To a store on several floors | Visitors can pick the floor or **Nearest entrance** |
| To an amenity, such as a washroom | The route ends at the right spot |

For each route, check that the line stays on walkways and reaches the store's door. Step through the directions with the arrows, all the way to the end.
