Mapping draws a store’s outline on its floor. Visitors can then tap it on the map, and directions know where it is. You need a floor plan first.

Draw a store

1

Open the editor

In the directory tab, go to 3D Space Mapping and choose Open Editor.
2

Pick the store

Open the Unmapped list, find the store and choose Map.
3

Choose the floor

Use the floor buttons on the map to go to the store’s floor.
4

Draw the outline

Click the corners of the store. Click the first point again, or press Enter, to close the shape.
5

Assign it

In Assign polygon to unit, select the store and choose Assign. The outline saves right away.
For another location of a store you already have, choose New linked location in the assign window. See Stores on several floors.

Change an outline

  1. Open the Mapped list. Current floor shows only stores on the floor you are viewing.
  2. Choose Edit polygon, or click the store on the map.
  3. Drag the corners. Right-click a corner to add or remove a point.
  4. To start over, choose Redraw polygon.
  5. Choose Save.
Unmap removes the outline but keeps the store in the directory.

Good to know

  • Undo and Redo work while drawing (⌘Z and ⇧⌘Z). Escape cancels.
  • Draw each store on the floor where visitors enter it, and don’t let the outline cross itself.
  • If you moved walls in the floor plan, check that the outlines still fit.
