Live positioning uses iBeacon-compatible Bluetooth beacons, such as Minew i10. Each beacon is identified by its UUID, Major and Minor values. Find the beacon settings in Wayfinding & Positioning > BLE Beacon Positioning. The Minew i10 Beacon Setup guide on the same tab explains how to configure the beacons themselves.

Note the identifiers

Write down the UUID, Major and Minor of each beacon. Each combination must be unique.

Open the beacon editor

Next to Beacon map, choose Open Beacon Editor.

Place each beacon

Pick the floor and click on the map where the beacon is installed. Enter its identifiers.

Save and test

Choose Save, then walk the building to check the blue dot. See Live positioning.
Label each beacon with its Major and Minor values, so a broken one is easy to find and replace.
