Test routes - Planpoint CX Docs

Test routes the way visitors use them: from the main entrances and from every touchscreen.

In the editor

In Route adjustments > Edit routes, the Routes tab shows how many places can be reached. Use Route preview to try any route and read its directions.

In the viewer

Open the Planpoint URL, then try a few routes on a computer and on a phone.

Try a route…	Check that…
From a main entrance to a nearby store	The first direction makes sense
From a main entrance to a store far away	The route uses the main walkways
From each touchscreen	The route starts where the screen stands
To a store on another floor	The right stairs, elevator or escalator is used
To a store on several floors	Visitors can pick the floor or Nearest entrance
To an amenity, such as a washroom	The route ends at the right spot

For each route, check that the line stays on walkways and reaches the store’s door. Step through the directions with the arrows, all the way to the end.
